A rising senior at Hollidaysburg (Pa.) High School…won the 2006 Pennsylvania state high school title…always uses a No. 4 ball…best competitive round is a 66…has two career holes-in-one…likes cars and his high school’s sports teams…began playing golf at age 4 and was influenced by his grandfather…shot 76-74 in stroke play…mother’s name is Lisa Bodenski…born Aug. 8, 1989 in Altoona, Pa.

Chris Cho, 17, Kent, Wash. (first Junior Amateur)

A rising senior at Kentridge High School in Kent, Wash….his brother, Charles, 24, serves as his caddie…lowest competitive round is 67 at Stone Creek Golf Course in Oregon…finished T3 at the 2007 Washington state 4A championships…won the Puget Sound League honor award in 2005…twice won his HS’s athlete of the week…shot  72-74 in stroke play…parents are Ho Chung (father) and Eun Sook (mother)…has an older sister, Christine…born Nov. 16, 1989 in New York, N.Y.

Sean Dale, 17, Jacksonville, Fla. (first Junior Amateur)

A rising senior at Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville… with a No.5 seed, the highest remaining of the stroke play portion of the championship (shooting 72-68)…has won two Future Collegians World Tour events and was runner-up twice…birdied five of his last six holes in the second round of his qualifying in Kentucky…his 66 in the last round is his lowest competitive score…has three career holes-in-one…his caddie is his longtime friend Alex Dienes…father is Bob Dale, mother is Ann Crawford…has three brothers…born Oct. 15, 1989 in Jacksonville, Fla.

Wesley Graham, 17, Port Orange, Fla. (second Junior Amateur)

A rising senior at Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Fla…has advanced to the quarterfinals for the second consecutive year…finished second at the HP Boys Invitational last week in Orlando, Fla….also finished second at the Mizuno Junior this year….one a Florida Junior Tour event in 2007 and the AJGA Rome, Ga. event in 2006….three-time Volusia County Player of the Year….his caddie is Lee Bowman and the two grew up playing golf together…always wears a clove necklace and marks his ball on the heads side of the coins…began playing golf at age 8… ….played in the 2006 U.S. Amateur but missed the cut…lowest competitive score is 64 in 2005…shot 76-70 in stroke play… parents are George and Tammy…born March 10, 1990 in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Michael McGowan, 16, Southern Pines, N.C. (first Junior Amateur)

A rising junior at O’Neal High School in Southern Pines, N.C….runner-up at this year’s North and South Junior at Pinehurst No.2…made the cut at the 2006 U.S. Amateur and earned an exemption from qualifying for this year’s Junior Amateur…lowest competitive score is 66 at Pine Needles (site of this year’s Women’s Open) at age 15…won all-state honors in golf the last two years…2006 North Carolina 2A state champion and runner-up in 2007…also won the 2006 Tarheel Junior and the 2006 William Bryant Invitational…won a varsity letter in soccer and basketball as a sophomore…began playing golf at age 9…likes swimming, soccer, basketball, tennis, ping-pong and running….shot 71-74 in stroke play…parents are Pat (who competes on the Champions Tour) and Bonnie…has a younger brother Scotti and his grandmother is golf legend Peggy Kirk Bell.…born Oct. 22, 1990 in Southern Pines, N.C.

Anthony Paolucci, 14, Dallas, Texas (first Junior Amateur)

A rising freshman at St. Mark’s High School in Dallas and the youngest remaining player in the field…began playing golf at age 4…shot his lowest competitive score, 65, in winning the 2005 Futures Masters….three-time winner of Starburst Junior…his only hole-in-one came during his Starburst win in 2003…also won the 2005 Future Collegians World Tour Championship…averages 20 points a game playing basketball…has had “good luck” dinners at Longhorn Steakhouse in Chesterfield this week…shot 71-75 in stroke play…parents are Mike and Aixa with a brother Vincent (12)…born Oct. 16, 1992 in Dallas.

Peter Uihlein, 17, Bradenton, Fla. (third Junior Amateur)

A rising senior at Pendleton School in Bradenton, Fla…the most experienced of the remaining players, participating in his third Junior...2005 Rolex national junior Player of the Year…three-time AJGA junior All-American…won the 2007 Footjoy, 2007 Bobby Chapman, and the 2007 Terra Cotta Amateur…runner-up at the 2007 Sunnehanna Amateur, the 2006 Rolex Tournament of Champions, the 2006 Footjoy and the 2005 Thunderbird…played in the 2006 U.S. Amateur…lowest score is 64 ‘lots of times’….one career hole-in-one…caddie is Jim Cooper…most memorable golf moment is PGA’s Busch Championship as a 16-year-old…likes to play poker…shot 72-75 in stroke play…parents are Wally and Tina with brother, Jon…born Aug. 29, 1989 in New Bedford, Mass.

Corey Whitsett, 15, Houston, Texas (second Junior Amateur)

A rising sophomore at Memorial High School in Dallas…left-handed player…won three AJGA events in 2006…runner-up once in 2006….2006 junior All-American honorable mention choice…made hole-in-one at last year’s Junior Amateur, the second of his career…lowest competitive score is 64 at the Nike Junior All-Star Championship in Oregon…caddie is Matt Hauser, who caddied for him at U.S. Open local qualifying where he shot 67 and made it to sectional qualifying…Hauser also caddies for USA Ryder Cupper J.J. Henry…shot 73-71 in stroke play…hates Mexican food but loves Italian…parents are Mary Ann and Jeff…has three younger sisters…born Sept. 29, 1991 in Houston.
